Hello, my name is Cheryl Brand (author's name). I am author of four books that can be found on Amazon.Com and also any bookstore around the world or online.

The first book is called:

"Apples of Gold Framed in Silver", a book about a girl on a journey that has spiritual applications.

The next book is a book of poetry that was written over the space of two decades is called:

I have just joined Blogger today, and I very excited about it. Its the first blogger site that I have joined, and I am looking forward to blogging. I am a freelance writer and I use to write to Helium and to Associated Content. I love to write poetry and articles of my genre. I love to write.

I am also an oil painter, watercolor painter, quilter, crocheter, and cook.

Since this is my first blog, I think that I will sign this one off for now, and come back and write more next time.

I AM BACK !

I am back -- after several moves some I wanted to take and some I definitely did not and after having to say goodbye to a few computers since the last blog... I am back. I got a DOG...she is an AUSTRALIAN SHEEP DOG MINATURE

I actually have a dog. the first dog that I have ever owned. She is a lovely dog -- the vetenarian said that she is an Aussie Sheepdog miniature. Who knew, I would not have. I know or I did know nothing about dogs. I have been learning a lot though since acquiring my lovely sheepdog that I named Candy. She is sweet, and obedient, and is caring. You say 'caring'? Yes, I watched the way she was with a dog that I was dog-sitting for about a month, and she was incredibly kind to the other dog. She shared her bones, her bed, her toys everything. They played well together and she would kiss him a lot so I knew that she really liked him. But the thing that impressed me the most about the way she was with him -- was that the first night he was with us (he slept on the couch, his favorite place), she slept there also all night so that he wouldn't be all alone --when she usually slept in her dog bed next to my bed on the floor in my bedroom. FOUND RELATIVE!

Not too long ago, I found a relative that I didnt even know about.  Apparantly my dad had a cousin and maybe cousins that I didnt have any idea about. How wonderful!  She is my 2nd cousin -- my dad's first cousin and lives in the state of Oregon.  She moved here to the USA with her husband in 1968.  They first lived in Texas and then moved to Oregon about a year ago.  Now, she was my dad's first cousin related to him by his dad (my grandad) being brother to her dad.   I was elated to find her and we have talked on the phone a few times to learn about each other.  Her name is Barbara and she told me that her dad and my grandad were best friends.  I asked where they grew up and she said on Edgeware Road in London and that they lived in a flat that was above horse stables.  How interesting!!   So we found each other and corresponded through phone calls, but I found her son on facebook and he and I share some things across our pages and he sends pix of recipes that he and his mum h
